Epic Elliptical Reviews of the A30E, A32E and A35E Models

Epic logo The brand of Epic fitness equipment is yet another one owned by the huge ICON Health & Fitness. ICON is known to produce high quality products that are reliable and last a long time. So bearing the title of ICON alone somewhat invokes that the brand is of high quality.

Epic currently has only 3 ellipticals available through their online website, the A30E, the A32E and the A35E. Most of the other ICON brands like NordicTrack and ProForm offer many more machines, so it’s easier to make your choice here if you decide Epic is the brand for you. Sometimes it can get a little overwhelming with so many options…we personally prefer when there are fewer to choose from. But that’s just us. 🙂

All of the Epic ellipticals are front-end driven ellipticals, and have heavy-duty flywheels (the heavier the flywheel the quieter the machine and the smoother the workout). Some other things that are common among all three machines would be that all are iFit ready; meaning that to use the iFit technology, a wireless module is not needed. They all have pretty similar warranties.

The A32E and A35E have 5-year parts with 2-years labor, while the A30E drops down to 3-year parts and 1-year labor. These are decent warranties; the 5-year parts and 2-year labor is acceptable. But dropping down to 3-year parts and 1-year labor is going a little too low. Other brands will offer a much better warranty.

All 2015 models offer a 20-22″ power adjustable stride, at least 30 preset workouts, at least 350 lb. max weight capacity, oversized digital displays to view your progress, fans, built-in speakers and quick touch adjustments.

UPDATE: As of 2016 Epic Fitness is out of business. Take a look at the more popular ICON Fitness brands, NordicTrack and ProForm, for a comparable elliptical trainer for your home.

You could definitely do a lot worse than getting an Epic elliptical. With the ICON name in quality, you also get the ICON name in customer service; which is widely known as being less than helpful. Since they are made with great quality, hopefully calls to customer service will be rare. It’s also interesting to note that with the current sale the prices have dropped about $200 from previous models.
