Gold's Gym StrideTrainer 410Gold’s Gym StrideTrainer 410

Web Price: $599 | Sale Price: $485

This is something where you can really say that you get what you pay for; a low price for a low quality product. There isn’t really anything of quality you can put on a machine for that price.

“Our 1st runner up in its category, the Stride Trainer 410 is an appropriate value.” – Treadmill Doctor

User Reviews

There are mixed reviews on the Gold’s Gym 410, but most seem to be on the negative side. Issues with broken parts, including the frame, dissatisfaction with the warranty, missing parts during delivery, seem to be the norm. A few people have been happy with the elliptical, but perhaps that is due to low expectations.

Here’s what a few people had to say…

“Piece of garbage. Will be returning once I can get it in the box. I have had nothing but issues for the past 2 months trying to get a decent machine and I give up. I quit.” – None7263940483 on Walmart Website

“Great machine I would have given it 5 stars but no where does it indicate the specs for the power adapter needed for the display console.” – Gold’s Gym Site

“When I received this item, it was rusted. Too much trouble to return, so I put it together. It was pretty easy. Good workout, but squeaks. If I didn’t throw the box out, it would have been returned. I do not recommend it” – Amazon user

Conclusion

The Gold’s Gym StrideTrainer 410 is an elliptical of questionable quality; and, as you can see, the user reviews of this machine are somewhat mixed.

You can tell that one of them was completely unsatisfied with this elliptical, and then you can see that there is someone who really liked this elliptical. Although I don’t know how much we can credit that reviewer due to the fact that it was on the manufacturer’s page for that elliptical. You can also see that the Treadmill Doctor said that this elliptical is an appropriate value, since it is in the $399 category.

Our advice? If you’re looking for something cheap go with Exerpeutic or Sunny Health, both in the same price range but receiving many more positive reviews than the Gold’s ellipticals.
